Passing Days

This poem is posted on a special request…… by one of my friend……

Every night and every day

I try to make my way into your mind.

Not as a happy memory,

Nor as a past unkind…

People call me crazy,

For wanting you back.

They say i search in vain,

For emotions you lack.

I’ll hurt myself again

Harder than last time, i’ll fall…

I’ll lose my voice screaming,

But you’ll never hear my call.

Still somewhere deep inside

I know you want me there.

You’ll never admit it,

But you long for my care.

I know that even my whisper

Makes you turn my way.

Your heart wants to rescue me,

Your footsteps shy away…

Every time my eyes bleed tears

An arrow moves through your vein.

Even more that my own self,

You can feel my pain.

Cause you are more than a lover.

Even closer than the closest friend.

Cause you help me break all chains…

And help me make amends.

I could say you are my soulmate..

But that wouldn’t be true..

Cause you don’t live in my heart,

My heart beats in you….
