As far as I am talking about movies and the work I have done, yeah. I love it . I could talk about it for hours and hours and hours. But when it comes to me talking about me and my life and the stuff in the media, I would very much love to be someone else.

Other Wheel..

Posted by Soumya Agarwal on September 8, 2009

Life, as we know, is not much more than a huge construction puzzle. Some pieces fit together nicely, others not at all. We see them scattered along life’s messed up playroom, choosing some and discarding others, hoping to build an existence. And it doesn’t matter if that existence is a rocket-powered, because it’s never finished. You think you might be in a good place, but wait–what if you added another steering wheel here? You interfere and bother until you think you’ve got it just about right, and then it gets crushed and you have to start over.

You know the ones…you’re cruising through life…wind blowing through your hair…every day seems sunny and full of possibilities…you’re happy…content…feel like you have the world by the your side…and then “BAM…BOP BAM” you hit a damn speed bump.  Oh it’s not shattering…not enough damage to make your life undrivable…just enough to deflate your heart alittle.  Just enough to make you doubtful of the speed you were traveling in case you don’t see the next one coming…is there a next one coming???

Lifes little speedbumps are EXACTLY that…a small bump in the road.  Doesn’t require major damage control just enough to slow you down for a bit or sometimes if it is a bigger one it may cause a “Full stop” as well.  I suppose it could be seen as a bad thing but they were put there for a reason…and maybe the reason is to see if you have the right traveling wheel. If you do then you discuss your travelling map and determine the best route to avoid those speed bumps and if you happen to run into another one you simply slow down roll over it slowly take out your lifes map and talk about other possible ways around them.  Because the truth is … there are many speed bumps in life but if you love someone enough then you trust that the speed bumps are not horrible things but ways to maybe make your journey better…to understand other wheel vehicle a little deeper and ultimately to overcome the minor speedbumps and enjoy your destination…together…which if you think about it…is why you took the ride in the first place

Life jolts, not the end!

Posted by Soumya Agarwal on July 11, 2009

Yesterday night I was pretty upset to hear my friend crying. This post is dedicated to a very dear friend who does not realize how good she is. I am no where trying to show sympathy but I am just trying my best to make her realize that the life is not that bad.

I know I am quite young to comment over life. But I would like to mention. I am sure many of you will not agree with me. By the way how do you take life as? Please let me know…. Some people says… life is very complex.. Some says its effortless… according to some its depends on how we perceive it and last but not the least.. Some says life is neither simple nor complex….

So many different perception about life.. which one should I consider right? Well.. I guess it differs from individual to individual… everyone look at it with different from aspect… for me life is a mystery… and mysteries cant be easily understood… you never know what the next moment going to serve you.. Life has beginning and it has a end too…, every beginning has an end and this thing is just about to end if you are not careful enough… ending doesn’t always means to be dead… but yes… it always refers to losing the charm of life… sometime it blooms like a flower and sometime it just fades away.. it never stops.. It always keeps moving forward….. It can not be back up…life never seems to rest in search of fulfilment…

We have to learn how to surf in the ocean of sorrow and sadness, and hope for the shore of the happiness. It will come and is always on the way. We just don’t know how long it will take but it is on the way and hope is what we need… J

Life is darker then the darkness sometime… but there is always a brighter side of every thing… I believe in being positive…. So, the brighter side of the darkness – The life will be full of joy and happiness, when a person learns to find brighter side of the darkness.

There is always a brighter side at the end of the darkness and we will never be able to find if we keep ourselves in the darkness without even trying to move. I know, it hurts a lot when someone leaves on the halfway but instead of keeping ourselves in the past, we should look forward to the bright future which is ahead. The past was mere few years but why to waste whole life because of those few years?

I know that making rounds of those temples did not help, I know the fasts did not help but God is not there in those temples. God is nothing but inner you. God did not let that relationship work because God knew the future and certainly did not want you to be in the pain for the whole life. That person left you because he was not the right person for you and it was his bad luck that he did not get you, not yours.

The life is so beautiful and full of joy. I am not asking you to forget the past, don’t even forget a single moment of it but also learn to look at the present which is welcoming you with open arms. Embrace the present with a smile and joy. And once you learn to do it, the past won’t make those tears come out.

This one is for everyone, learn to live life with joy, I know we face lot of difficulties in the life but we should learn how to overcome them. If you have lost something in the life, do not waste time thinking why did you lose it but spend time in thinking how can you be better so that you don’t make that kind of loss again.

When you lose something, it simply means that there is something better in the basket which is waiting for you. Just pass the test of life and you will never regret.

And I think people should start thinking broader, think beyond “me and myself”. I really do not understand why people have narrow thinking, why they can’t think beyond “myself”, think selflessly.

The day when we all start thinking selflessly, it will be the world’s happiest day. Helping out people without expecting anything gives the happiness which nothing else can give. But people fail to understand that.

Sharmili ka swayambar =)

Posted by Soumya Agarwal on June 30, 2009

Poor jokes desk in media once again cracked another joke….. I better say… It’s an incredible joke they can ever crack… in a reality show….  NDTV Imagine came up with a new program “Rakhi ka Swayambar”. In this particular show Rakhi will get a chance to choose her life partner amongst a mass of participants….wohuuuu….. Rakhi is getting true to her life style…

She is the public display of aggravation (PDA)… and now she is looking out for a groom… wooohaaaaaaaa…. She planned her Swayamvar…. in public on a reality TV show

Will somebody let me know that is it truly a reality show and truly a real marriage in all aspects? It seems that this program is used by Rakhi as a platform to make money and gain popularity. It is really a cheap act on the part and it is worse that NDTV is involved in publicizing and promoting this cheapness on the television. Is it a sign of women empowerment or that our Indian culture and vales are dumped by Rakhi Sawant?

Well… whatever…..!!  I am getting along with my post….. The show has kicked off with noisy response from prospective grooms from across the world. In just 20 days of the show announced, “NDTV Imagine has received a thunderous response from Rakhi’s admirers. There has been a flood of entries received from across the globe via phone, email, sms and even personal deliveries.

From the mass of participants one appropriate boy will win Rakhi’s heart and walk away with her hand in marriage. (god really knows.. who will be the one?!!) Participants were from businessmen to models, NRI’s to doctors, and those engineers. These prospective grooms came from all walks of life. And most entries are in the broad age group of 18 to over 35.hehehe…. 18 year old !!!!! :-D even today’s Kids want to marry Rakhi… How cute?!!! :-D

While I was watching the joke… oopsss…;) I mean Show… (I must not make fun of it)  over television a 18 years old guy thinks that “he can fulfill the need of love and affection that Rakhi is looking for and hence he is the perfect match for her.” Where as 25 years old guy really appreciates Rakhi’s bindass attitude and is looking forward to be short listed because he thinks that “he is mature enough to support and guide her in every aspect of life.”(  heheheh … matured enough to support Rakhi….   !!!!!!! support in what? Slapping others? or Abusing?):D

Reacting to the awesome response to her Swayamvar, a super-energized Rakhi said, “I want to thank everybody for their continued support. This huge response has proved to everybody that my Swayamvar and shaadi is not a joke. My only wish is to find a person who will always be my support system and will respect me for what I am. I’m so glad that my family at NDTV Imagine is with me through this entire journey and taking so much of care of me and my wishes.” (What support she is talking about? Getting kicked off every time? She says it has been proved from the programme that her marriage isn’t a joke… poor she…. she doesn’t even know the reality… by the way… this program proved that … her marriage may be the greatest joke in this era…. She made a fool out of herself!!!! I really don’t get one thing… which family she was talking about… the one… who lash out her from the family…. ?? Or she has some imaginary family members? Oh…. I really can comment over it… well as far as I have seen stuff over the media….  She doesn’t really stand any respect…. So who is going to respect her..? … ooopsss… I forgot to mention.. I don’t like this female at all… )

According to me…. The biggest surprising participant NDTV people can keep in the “Rakhi ka Swayambar” none other then Sardar ManMohan Singh or in short SMS. He is a perfect fit for becoming Rakhi’s husband as he is already habituated to obeying orders received from females. (hehehehhehehe)….Or NDTV people should Invite Mika Singh… and Abhishek Avasthi over the show as participants….. That would be great…. I would love to watch this show then… It would be grama-garam telecast (hot show) isn’t? . Because it will recall that Rakhi had once slapped her ex-boyfriend Abhishek Awasthi….. full public view. And for Mika singh….  to teach him another lesson… as she was shouting in the news….. when the unwanted event happened between the two.. and it later on became the “SANSANI KHEZ KHABAR” for few days….

Before writing over this issue… I was searching net….. Somewhere in between my search I read “Rumours are also rife that not a single male patient is left in the Agra Mental Hospital who hasn’t applied for the Swayamvar.” Hehehehe….. Cool enough… right? Well I found this imaginary… No doubt… but it’s cool…

Well, to me this show seems to me the new Ramayan of the this era….. hehehee “Rakhi ka Swayambar” instead of “Sita ka Swayambar”

Rakhi seems to be playing the role of Sita here. And the two another left to be decided….. that’s “Ram and Laxman”. Ram Kapoor and Ravi.. are playing one single role… actually.. they were not potential enough.. so they decide to divide the one single role into two…. The role of “Janak” (sita’s father) I must say,…. Ravi is trying his level real hard … after all it’s all about his sister’s life…. (A brother involved in cracking the biggest joke of his sister’s life… woohhuhuu)

This time, Ram and Laxman, their bows and arrows ready is circling the “yagna vedi” round and NDTV is keeping a strict watchfulness.

The grooms are too busy in attracting Rakhi towards them…. Each of them came up with a dream… That Rakhi will marry him… they are in a kind… fighting for Rakhi…. Well that’s even more cool…. It gives the more sense of entertainment to me….. I must admire.. till now I have just seen all this kind of stupidity in the Movies only.. That too Hindi movies specially…. But now.. That’s in real… That’s in reality show…. Go go….. Watch it..  16 candidate.. Short listed from all over the world…. And they are fighting for one girl… Thats the SITA of new era.. According to NDTV………. as they portrayed.

The show contains no morality and values of Indian tradition. The TV show is just a showbiz that is made to vow the viewers and for making huge money through advertising. Or is it one of the signs that the value of marriage has degraded in India in recent times, and it is now used by the girls of affluent class to please them and for having good time, till the time it lasts. It is just like party to carry out the their fantasies, themes and dreams, and there are no emotions involved as in any Indian traditional marriage

Never mind… I guess Rakhi along with NDTV Imagine team writing a new history for the upcoming generation.. Instead if getting to know about  “Sita ka Swayambar”…. Kids will from now know “Rakhi ka swayambar”

Hmmmm…. I think.. I have spoken enough.. I must stop here by now.. by the way… One more NAUTANKI from rakhi.. for her cheap Publicity…

*Note: what all have written above is highly my personal feelings and thinking… so, please no offences”
