Rain: Pitter-pattering sounds

Awww…. It’s raining out side…it is almost mid-night….I am sitting next to window with my course book opened in front of me and I just cant concentrate…. my eyes are stuck outside….. .What a beautiful sight…!!! I wish I could enjoy it…. Damn…. I just can’t….. Why do we have exams when such wonderful things are happening around?

Well well…. Poor me!!! Just can’t even afford to take risk… was eagerly waiting for the rain… but the timing wasn’t good… I never miss a chance to get out in rain…..but yeah sometime I just have to….

Aah… it is one of the best things that can ever happen in this world…. Oh, I don’t know… I have just always love rain. For me it began with my birth… My first day in this world as baby…and I was welcomed with the rain…. just the sad matter of fact that the data has never been historically verified the rain. Heeeeeeeeeeehehe

I spent my childhood in Uttaranchal.. Oh its heaven…!!! my place.. you know… my place!!! The colours of mud and trees that grow in the rain have become part of my mind. I just cant stop thinking about it….

Whenever it starts to rain and I cant go out for some reason I always chose to sit by the window and watch the rain stream across in little gully… then at times I chose to read a book…..Once it rains I love to do a lot of fun and dance with friends because it rains so often in Manipal, it became sort of a practice for us. I don’t know, I guess that’s how I started liking the shower more each time it rains. Oh dear I just love watching raindrops falling down

There are not less then 100 reasons why I am so much in love with rain. Whenever it rains.. the first song that comes to my mind is.. “RAIN DROPS KEEP FALLING ON MY HEAD” and I swear.. I love humming that song whenever it rains.. Mahnnnnnnnn….. oooooooooo!!!!

Another reason.. If m sad and dull it washes my tears away. And I can cry and pretend that it’s raindrops. … I love the power of rain to prove you wrong. You dash into the rain in a fit of anger, hoping for liberty, rejection, SOMETHING earth-shattering and life-altering. Or just standing in the rain when everybody’s hiding from it…oooooooooooooo it is just so amazing.

Its always hard to explain that in words I love the tiny pitter-pattering sounds that make everything seem so huge, so endless., and the matter of fact that it pushes away the annoying crowds. The most beautiful natural sound. Oh Mahn…. It catches breath. It’s so calming – I can sit and listen for hours listening to those sounds, trying to find.

And the smell – it’s something strange. It’s hard to explain, but there’s something special in it. And yes…. I love the way the air feels just before a storm rolls in. I get Goosebumps and if I can chill out with some mellow music or movie, I’m in heaven.

You know what… I also love umbrellas, they are so colorful and beautiful. Though I just adore to buy them.. but never carry them… then how will I enjoy the rain?

It’s just refreshing and easier to think. Rainy days are just too perfect.

Rain makes me smile……And the sky is always beautiful and dark; if there’s sun, the rain glitters against it with a RAINBOW. aaaaah…..! So many things in One neat package
